The Scott ELSA 15 Minute Escape Breathing Apparatus is a compact emergency life support escape set designed to provide breathable air during evacuation from hazardous environments. It is suitable for use in industrial, marine, commercial, and building safety applications where smoke, gas, chemical hazards, or sudden air contamination may be present.

The ELSA escape set is designed for quick and simple donning in emergency situations. Its constant-flow hood supplies breathable air at a nominal flow rate of 40 litres per minute, giving the wearer approximately 15 minutes to escape to a place of safety.

The hood design makes it suitable for users who wear glasses, have facial hair, or have long hair. It features a large clear visor for excellent visibility, an elastomeric neck seal for a secure fit, and a lightweight design for comfort and ease of use.

The complete unit is housed in a bright safety orange carrying bag. Both the hood and the bag are flame-retardant, and the bag is resistant to chemical splashes.
